Family Photos

It's not a great picture (my wife's fault of course) but the girl in the middle is my niece who came with us to Taquemenon Falls near Newberry MI. The girl on the right is my daugther Darrel, and I'm holding my son Sawyer so he won't climb over the fence and jump in the water, which he tried to do at another spot along the way.

The picture to the right is beat up, but it's the best I could do with Adobe PhotoDeluxe.  I had to include this one because it shows us in a "before the kids" stage.  (Now we're just haggard and generally beaten-down looking.) :-)

Many people mistake Sawyer for a girl, which is an honest mistake judging by the picture above.  However, I have come to firmly believe that mothers are unconsciously driven by instinct (or wishful thinking?) to dress their boys like girls, which influences one's judgment.  Of course, his long, blonde, curly hair doesn't help matters much.
